An ideal location if you want to be away from the mass tourism, noise and bustle of the west coast yet remain within easy driving distance of the shopping, restaurants, bars and amenities afforded by the close proximity of Phuket Town.
The land is situated on the Cape Panwa peninsula approximately 5 kms south east of Phuket Town and within 2 kms of the new Conrad Hilton Hotel.
Cape Panwa is an area of Phuket that has retained much of the original charm of the island, this has been primarily due to the fact that being a peninsula it has not suffered the same through traffic that much of the center and west coast has or the subsequent development that follows this traffic.
The Tamarind project was designed to encapsulate some of the local charm and way of life that is expected of an island like Phuket, whilst maintaining a high degree of privacy.
Each house is designed in the Balinese style to be made up of a cluster of individual buildings, interlinked by covered walkways and decks, the center point being the living and entertaining areas extending to private swimming pools.
The pools are designed to give the impression of "hanging in the air" with the infinity edge merging the pool with the sea.
Unlike the views commonly seen on Phuket, which are often empty expanses of sea, here they are a hive of activity. During certain periods of the day the colorful fishing boats chug gently out between he offshore islands, whilst the odd yacht or ship moors nearby to take advantage of the protected waters in the lee of the islands.
Night time too brings an array of activity with the lights from ships moored offshore and Phuket Town twinkling in the distance.
